Integral full tang knife

I'm glad to present you the little fella... a full tang intégral knife that I forged out of an old and big file.

I must admit that I'm quite please by the result for both the blade (even if the temper line isn't as I would have hoped) and the wood (expecialy the wood !!! )

Some details :

8 cm of edge for an overall length of 20.5 cm
2mm at the thikest point of the blade and 10mm at the bolster
handle make of an exeptionnal piece of boxwood root
80 gramms

Je suis heureux de vous présenter ce petit dernier... un couteau "intégral plate semelle" que j'ai forgé à partir d'une grosse et ancienne lime.

Je dois avouer que je suis plutôt content du résultat ! Que ce soit pour la lame (même si ja ligne de trempe n'est pas exactement comme je l'aurais souhaité) ou pour le bois... (surtout pour le bois !!)

Quelques détails :

8cm de tranchant pour un total de 20.5 cm
2 mm au dos du tranchant et 10 mm au plus épais de la mitre
Manche fait dans un magnifique morceau de racine de buis
